Fall Charcuterie Platter

Charcuterie Platter with Antipasto

Looking to impress your friend and family at a socially-distanced gathering this Fall? May we suggest this Oberto Charcuterie Fall Platter.

This can be served as a fun dinner or as an easy Fall appetizer. Here are our best tips for how to make this charcuterie board.

  1. Give yourself plenty of time to prepare so you don’t feel rushed. You have to wash, dry and slice fruits, roast a few veggies (optional) and arrange everything. Bonus tip: if making in advance, brush apples and pears with lemon juice so they don’t brown.

  2. Replenish crackers and bread as needed. Slice the bread last and serve the slices close together to keep the bread soft. Slice a second loaf and keep it in a plastic baggie so it doesn’t dry out.

  3. Keep a color theme in mind when planning your board. For Fall, we love oranges, browns, and purples for this charcuterie board.

  4. Place complementary flavors close together. For example; brie, figs, prosciutto, and french bread are all close together, then hard cheese, salame, and crackers are placed close together.

  5. Start arranging by placing large items like pumpkins and bowls slightly off-center. Then place whole cheeses and grape bunches. Fill with meats, cut cheese, and nuts.

  6. While everyone loves all the meats and cheeses, you’ll want something to mix it up and give the board some variety. Adding a jam, chutney, honey, and hummus dip will be sure to make your charcuterie board top-notch!

  7. This size charcuterie board will feed about 6 adults as a meal, or 12 as an appetizer.
